Hi. My name is Tom Manley of Berwick Ontario, Canada. I put this collection together to share with family, friends and colleagues.
Je suis touché par la reconnaissance de l'Association canadienne-française de l'Ontario de Prescott-Russell. J'ai reçu le lauréat de la Francophonie de Prescott-Russell pour mon implication dans le renouvellement du Collège d'Alfred.
I published this letter to the editor about the Harper Conservatives buying votes with a gimmick with a credit on Employment Insurance premiums.
I recently published this letter to the editor in the local media about our Conservative MP Guy Lauzon abusing tax dollars by publishing a very partisan tax guide. It appeared in the Cornwall FreeNews, the Standard-Freeholder, and the Chesterville Record.
Along with the Mayor of South Dundas, we had the honour of hosting a delegation of agronomists and agriculture directors from the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand. They visited our organic grain plants in Berwick and Morrisburg. Here is another story in the Cornwall FreeNews.
Isabelle and I had a great time at the Beau's Oktoberfest on Oct 3rd 2014 in Vankleek Hill. Wow! They sure know how to put on a party! It is a marketing success and a logistics wonder! Lots of music, games, wonderful food, and great beer. And the party lasts for two days.
The AgriNews reported that Plowing Matches are a deeply rooted Manley Tradition. My grandfather Peter coached me many times.
"Well-known agri-businessman, Tom Manley, had a wide smile while talking about Alfred College's near future", in the Standard Freeholder on August 29th 2014. The University of Guelph recently announced that it will cease educational and research activities at Alfred and Kemptville Campuses in 2015. I am the president of the Community Council at Alfred College. I am very busy working with the community, U of Guelph and OMAF to find long term solutions.
